“Raising Kingdom Women to make a Godly impact in a worldly society.”
The Prayer Brunch is a women's’ ministry initiative designed to foster prayer, fellowship, and connection among women of faith. Rooted in Christian values, it brings together a vibrant community of faith-driven women from diverse backgrounds, including professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives etc. Guided by the scripture Matthew 18:20, the organisation hosts brunch events under the theme “where two or more are gathered, I am among them” showing the power of partnership and alignment between two people. We are in the last days, showing up as the light is important in a world full of darkness. “We are Gods’ handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do” - Ephesians 2:10
With an online podcast series called “ The Moment I Knew” providing a platform for women to share their spiritual journeys and experiences. These gatherings aim to create a supportive community where participants can engage in meaningful conversations, form genuine Christ-centered friendships, and empower one another in their faith. The Prayer Brunch is committed to making Jesus known and shining a light on women God is calling to serve in this season. The Prayer brunch aims to become a community of women who not only gather, but work together in building the society we aspire to become by investing in the women and children in our various communities through charitable initiatives
Our Convener
Davina Bemako is the General Manager of a fintech Cash management firm in the Southern and Central African region ,a philanthropist in the making and a role model within the tech space. She exemplifies character traits of a leader both in her professional and personal capacity, with the goal of making Jesus known. Davina is a Youth Leader at her local church; Winners Chapel International.
With a strong background in Marketing across several African Markets, she has started mentoring young women looking to go into the tech space by offering free mentorship sessions online. Founder of RBRND WMN, A Women’s boutique shaping the way women of impact are dressed, with unique pieces in limited quantities. She hires young women from the community and works with local female designers across Africa to showcase their designs and items in store. This gives these women much needed opportunity and visibility for their businesses and brands.
“The start of The Prayer Brunch is a story of pain to purpose. In a season of loss, confusion and uncertainty; God showed up and began to reveal to me what he wanted from me.
To use my platform, voice and influence to help bring his daughters back to himself. A lot of us are Christians but lack a deep intimacy and relationship with Jesus. It is in the secret place that God reveals your identity and assignment.“
