Can you tell us more about yourself?
I really care about human connection — it’s one of the reasons I love what I do. My work gives me the chance to interact with so many different people, and I genuinely enjoy hearing their stories and being part of their confidence journey.
Growing up, I was always the one playing dress-up, and I still carry that playful spirit with me. To me, wigs are the ultimate adult version of dress-up — they’re a fun, creative way to express yourself and switch things up.
I’d also say I’m someone who truly enjoys life. I love a good laugh, good energy, and I’m honestly at my happiest when the people around me are happy too.
Can you tell us more about your career and TheGlamBarSA?
I own a wig store best known for our custom-coloured wigs. I started the business out of a genuine love for wigs and a clear gap I noticed in the market for high-quality, uniquely coloured units. It’s been an interesting and sometimes challenging journey, but I’m incredibly grateful that four years later, I still have a business I can proudly call my own.
How is your relationship with God guiding the way you do business?
Running a business has taught me that so much of it is deeply rooted in faith. Every month requires believing that clients will come, that the right opportunities will find me, and that my needs will be met. My relationship with God is truly at the center of it all — I lean on Him constantly for guidance, provision, and peace. I'm fully dependent on His grace to sustain both me and the business.
What is your favourite bible verse and why?
Colossians 3:12–13 - “Therefore, as God’s chosen people... clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another”
This verse has become my favourite, especially as I’ve grown older and begun navigating the realities of adulthood. Life has shown me that everyone is carrying something — we’re all flawed, all trying in our own ways. This scripture reminds me to lead with grace: to offer patience, kindness, and forgiveness not just to others, but also to myself.
